Declaration of accessibility

VZP CR undertakes to make its website and mobile applications available in accordance with Act No. 99/2019 Coll. (Act on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications and on Amendments to Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on Public Administration Information Systems and on Amendments to Certain Other Acts, as amended).

This accessibility statement applies to the following websites and mobile apps:

Compliance status

The websites and mobile apps mentioned above are partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 due to insufficiently accessible content.

Insufficiently accessible website content

  • All the websites mentioned use red for warning and error texts, while some others are green. This can cause difficulties for people with colour vision impairment.
  • VZP CR website, VZP Point: Some information is available in forms other than hypertext or text – many links direct to files of documents published in different formats (e.g. PDF). The level of accessibility of these documents has not yet been investigated.
  • IDM: The application is secured against automated attacks using reCAPTCHA. As a rule, simply ticking the "I am not a robot" box is sufficient. In rare cases you will be asked to select the correct images – this is particularly problematic for the visually impaired. Although reCAPTCHA offers verification via audio recording, the following problems occur in this case:
      • authentication by means of an audio recording is difficult to trace or not traceable at all,
      • the audio is in English, which may cause problems for people with no knowledge of English,
      • the sound recording is difficult to hear in an even slightly noisy environment, so headphones are advisable.
  • IDM, Moje VZP: The Terms of Use are available in PDF format on this website. The level of accessibility of these documents has not yet been investigated.
  • IDM – Request for access to the Moje VZP application: Entering your health insurance card number may not be easy, especially for people with visual impairments, because the number is on a card that is designed to be read by sight. Therefore, a user with a visual impairment can obtain a health insurance card number by calling 952 222 222.
  • IDM – Request for access to the Moje VZP application: In order to complete the registration, the user receives an activation code in the mail. The package is in no way adapted for persons with specific disabilities.
  • IDM – Creation of a user account, Moje VZP: Entering the activation code may not be easy, especially for people with visual impairments, due to the fact that the number is found on a sight-readable document.
  • IDM - User Profile Settings, Moje VZP, VZP Point: From Moje VZP you can get to the VZP Point and IDM applications. Related to this are the following potential problems:
      • It is not possible to return to Moje VZP from VZP Point by clicking on the linking element (there is no such element in VZP Point). In this case, you must return to the browser history or enter moje.vzp.cz in the browser address bar again.
      • If the user has not yet been activated, it is not possible to return to Moje VZP from the IDM application by clicking on the linking element. In this case, you must return to the browser history or enter moje.vzp.cz in the browser address bar again.

Insufficiently accessible mobile app content

  • Entering the health insurance card number may not be easy, especially for people with visual impairments, because the number is on a card that is not sight-readable. Therefore, a user with a visual impairment can obtain a health insurance card number by calling 952 222 222.
