  • When you apply for a contribution for the first time, or when you apply after a change of health insurance company and re-register with the VZP, you will also need to attach proof of diagnosis to your application.
  • A contribution application is submitted 2 times a year, namely:
  • in the first half of the year from 1 January 2025 to 30 June 2025 for the first half of the amount;
  • in the second half of the year from 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2025 for the second half of the amount.
  • Any unspent amount for the first half-year will not be carried over to the second half-year.
